I have been attending support group meeting held by One Hope Centre and have heard countless stories of gamblers who have successfully find a solution to their loanshark problems there.
ONE HOPE CENTRE is a voluntary welfare organization which seeks to assist members of the public who as a result of gambling are:
* Facing difficulties managing their finances due to their inability to pay creditors.
* Harassed by unlicensed moneylenders due to their inability to meet regular payments.

COMMUNITY ADDICTIONS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME / INSTITUE OF MENTAL HEALTH
CAMP was launched officially on 21st April 2001. Its aim is to provide treatment for individuals with various addictions, including substance behavioural addictions (e.g. compulsive gambling, sex addiction and internet addiction). The good news is that people DO recover from addictions. Recovery begins with the desire to change, and the person is more likely to recover with the right support. CAMP has a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, psychologists and counselors who can help. CAMP also works with numerous government and community based agencies to provide consultation and referral services.
Addiction Helplines
Do you suffer, or know someone who is suffering from an gambling addiction related problem?
We run two Gambling Helplines and a General Addictions Helpline to provide support, offer information, and advice to callers. If you have any questions or concerns about gambling, or any other addiction, please call our Helplines for immediate support.
The helpline is manned by a team of trained counselors. All calls will be treated as confidential. The information you provide to us will not be disclosed to anyone outside our organization. Occasionally we may record your conversation for training and supervision of staff.
Our counselors will listen to you attentively and provide advice, information and emotional support. If you require services that we are unable to provide, our counselors will refer you to the relevant agencies where you can get the help you need.
You do not need to give us your name when you call. However, if you wish us to mail you information, or make an appointment for you, we will of course require your name and address.
If you're unable to reach us during the operating hours, you may wish to leave your name and contact details, and we will get back to you the next working day.
